Is low-fat diet ideal for weight loss? Think again!
Traditionally when people think about losing weight, the first thing they think about is cutting out all the fats in their diet. They shop for low-fat yogurt, only eat chicken breast, egg whites, and other low-fat products.
When you start to eat clean like that. You will start to lose weight, no doubt. But...there are also a lot of risks associated with a pure low-fat diet like that!
Just to name a few..
- Unable to focus and poor function
- Hormone Imbalances
- Dry Skin
- Low-fat prevents vitamin absorption
Sounds terrible! But this doesn't mean that you can't go on a low-fat diet, just find ways to add more healthy fats into your diet such as snacking on almonds, using olive oil, and eating fatty fish once in a while!
